Caribbean Computing Center for Excellence

Introduction 

The CCCE is a NSF Grant: CNS-0940522 for $2.3 Million grant (2009-2012). Designed to enhance the Computer Science BS offer at UMET.  Dr. Juan F. Arratia was the Director and Principal Investigator of the grant in partnership with colleagues from Universidad del Este, Universidad del Turabo, and universities across Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.

Objectives 

The CCCE grants support scholarships for undergraduate students at UMET, summer research opportunities in US research institutions and abroad for Computer Science majors from UMET and partner institutions.
